Time to Yourself: An Art-Making Workshop
Experimental Art Workshop...
As I finish up my Master's in Fine Art at York University, my teaching at the Toronto University been put on hold due to a strike on campus. So I am fortunate to have other art teaching opportunities in Toronto. In conjunction with my Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train solo show at the Gallery at the J, I am leading an art workshop for caregivers, mothers, and parents on Thursday March 21st from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. I will also be running this workshop for children in several kindergarten classes. You can register for the caregiver and parent experimental art workshop here. The art show and workshops are in honour of International Women's Day.
Art Class Description:
Partake in the practice of play! Parents and caregivers are invited to explore and create while taking time to reflect on their lives and roles. I encourage you to bring your most and least favourite toys to draw, paint and collage with. Facilitator Rachael Grad’s exhibit Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train is on display in The Gallery at the J from March 5 to 27.
I hope to see you at one of my 2 solo art shows this week!
