Missing My Art Studio Time
Getting Back to Painting this Summer
Now that Toronto is reopening from COVID-19 closures, I'm looking forward to getting back to art making. Being stuck inside for the last few months with my family, I've been drawing daily but not painting much. Read more about my lockdown sketchbook project in this art blog post Daily Drawing During a Pandemic that I posted a few weeks ago. Since March, my art studio has been taken over by home schooling, kids’ projects and homework. The school year ends in Toronto this wee, the Canadian summer weather is nicer and everyone in my family and neighborhood is happy about it! My kids will have more outdoor activities this summer (not all of which involve me!) so I’ll have more art creating time. This summer I plan to get back to creating original paintings, collages and drawings. Stay tuned to this Art Blog where I’ll post my summer artwork commissions, creative projects and art adventures.
