Self-Portrait Show
New Mixed Media Self Portrait
My first self-portrait in over 10 years will be part of a group art exhibition at the Heliconian Club in Yorkville, Toronto. This self-portrait was created in 2021 with cut up travel photographs that I took abroad pre-pandemic, ink, acrylic paint, used palette paper scraps and pieces of recycled materials found around my home during lockdown. My fragmented face, shoulders and torso are partially visible. The Zoom opening and reception is scheduled for May 2nd, 2021 at 4 pm. Please RSVP and attend because unlike some art openings, this art event will not be recorded. Click here to RSVP for the art opening. Once you register, you will be sent the zoom link in the confirmation email. The in-person exhibition dates are subject to the lifting of the current lockdown and stay-at-home order in Toronto, Ontario. Canada. In person viewings may be available by appointment in late May depending on public health restriction changes.
