My Daily Drawing Project included with these new teddy bear pencil drawings. In 2015, I gave the toy elephant a rest from being my daily art subject and started sketching a teddy bear.
Teddy Bear Emotions
Sometimes the teddy bear looks happy, sad, tired or alert. It's amazing how many different emotions we read read and project onto the same stuffed animal. Lighting, setting, and tone all work to give an inanimate teddy bear lifelike feelings and mood.
The position of the teddy bear also makes a difference in how we read its mood. The reclining teddy bears look sleepy. The seated teddy bears look more alert.
