Detail photos of a colorful abstract painting in progress are shown here. I’ve been working on this large scale artwork for several months. Something will be working in it, then I paint more and ruin it! Maybe it’s the long canvas shape and big scale that I just can’t get a handle on.
Blue, yellow, green, grey and multicolor brushstrokes on this colorful canvas. I'm enjoying moving the paint around on the canvas but get frustrated that I can't figure out the composition of the artwork. I think I need some time to look at it, think about the painting as a whole, and then make some changes.
