A busy season with multiple art exhibitions... 

For spring 2024, I am busy painting, imagining and creating for multiple art exhibitions taking place in Toronto. These shows will feature different artworks including new paintings from my "Mommy Mayhem," Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train," and "After the Plague Party" series. From February to April 2024, I have 3 solo art exhibitions taking place in Toronto:

1. Mommy Mayhem, Samuel M. Zacks Gallery, Stong College, York University. February 15-March 8. Hours: M-F 12 pm-4pm. Opening: Friday March 1, 1-3 pm.
2. Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train, Gallery at the J, 750 Spadina Rd. March 5-27. Hours: M-F 6am-10pm; S-S 7am-7pm. Workshop: Thursday March 21, 7-8:30 pm.
3. Motherhood Moments, Gales Gallery, 8 Accolade West, York University, April 1-5. Hours: 11 am – 3pm. Opening: Wednesday April 3, 1-3 pm. 

If you happen to be in the Boston area, I have 2 artworks on view in the faculty club at Brandeis University until April 2024. 

Experimental Art Workshop

In conjunction with my Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train solo show at the Gallery at the J, I am facilitating an art workshop for caregivers, mothers, and parents on Thursday March 21st from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. You can register for the experimental art workshop here. This show and workshop is in honour of International Women's Day.  

Art Class Description: 

Partake in the practice of play! Parents and caregivers are invited to explore and create while taking time to reflect on their lives and roles. Bring your most and least favourite toys to draw, paint and collage with. Facilitator Rachael Grad’s exhibit Motherhood Hit Me Like a Train is on display in The Gallery at the J from March 5 to 27.
