2019 Year in Review: Art & Gifts
Top Selling Colorful Artwork, Leggings, Pillows, Scarves
This past year was a busy and productive one for my art. For the first time, I tested my original artwork on gifts and products including leggings, scarves, pillows, mugs and more. Other new experiments in 2019 for my art: I set up this online Art Shop and sold my artwork and gifts at local Toronto markets. Thank you to everyone who bought my original art, leggings, scarves, mugs and pillows this year! Your purchases, interest and support have meant so much to my small art business.
It’s been incredibly encouraging to have my new art and designs selling in multiple Toronto shops, markets and online. I’ve been both surprised and happy to see which items sell best. Some top-selling gift products were popular both online and in local shops and markets. For example, the same top-selling abstract art and striped pillowcases were popular online and in person. Matching mom and me legging sets were popular everywhere!
Other colorful art gifts only sold either in person or in my online shop. For example, different scarf styles and colors were top sellers online in my Art Shop than in-person around Toronto. Some brand new prints and products in my Art Shop like my Valentine’s Collection are not on this list because they haven’t been sold in person yet. In 2020, I’m already booked for a live painting and popup art show in January and the Spring One of a Kind Show in March. Both spring events are in Toronto.
