The Story Behind Dog Swimming, Rapallo, Italy Art Print
On a hot summer day, while waiting for the ferry in Rapallo, Italy, a friendly dog wanted to cool off. Lucky for him, he was roaming free (off-leash) and jumped off a dock and into the water.
The dog’s owner wasn’t pleased about his dog’s spontaneously swim. But all the people (including me and my family) who were also waiting for the nearby ferry were delighted. We were all jealous of the dog and wanted to jump in and join him! Instead, I took some photographs of the dog's joyous swim.
The first buyer of this artwork is an avid sailor and loves Italy. He took home this same print shown in the photograph above for his new Toronto condo. The artwork Dog Swimming, Rapallo, Italy is a perfect fit for his new home.
